hurry²n 1. be in a hurry to need to do something, go somewhere etc more quickly than usual 匆忙,急急忙忙:◇i can't talk now — i'm in a hurry. 现在我不能谈 — 我在赶时间呢。 2. (there's) no hurry spoken used to tell someone that they do not have to do something immediately 【口】 不用着急:◇you can pay me back next week — there's no hurry. 你可以下个星期还我钱 — 不用急。 3. not be in any hurry/be in no hurry to be able to wait because you have a lot of time in which to do something 不急[指时间充足因而可以等待]:◇take your time, i'm not in any hurry. 慢慢来,我不急。 |
