The Infiltration and Cultivation of Students’ Cultural Awareness in English with the Education Backg
【Abstract】With the implementation and the continuous development of the New Curriculum Standards, English classroom teaching methods and models have tremendous changes in recent years. In this case, as a teacher, we should explore the infiltration of cultural awareness in English teaching and strive to improve the student initiative of learning. Generally speaking, this paper focuses on the following two specific questions. What is the flipped classroom model that being suitable for English Teaching in school? Compared with the traditional teaching mode, what are the advantages of the flipped classroom?

The Introduction of English Cultural Awareness
Language is the carrier of culture. English as a foreign language, carries a certain culture. The cultural awareness of students should be cultivated through various effective methods. This process can broaden the horizons of students and help students develop a correct world outlook on life and values. On the other hand, it can also enrich the students' spirit and cultivate students' International vision and cross-cultural awareness in order to help students have a better comprehension of English. English knowledge contains not only the vocabulary and the grammar, but also the cultural background of foreign history, geography, and so on.
The Introduction of Flipped Classroom
The flipped or inverted classroom refers to a learning design that upends the typical division of student work. Lectures are moved online to be viewed before class, and classroom time is dedicated to learning activities that require students to engage concepts at a higher level in a group setting and with an instructor at hand to answer questions, give feedback, and prompt reexamination of key ideas. Several studies in various disciplines have shown that a flipped classroom can produce better learning outcomes as it increases levels of problem solving structure and practice.
The Differences Between Flipped Classroom and Traditional English Class
Language learning requires a lot of autonomy and devoting much amount of time into intensive training. English as a foreign language, the learning process of input, guidance, and strengthen of students should be started in the sensitive period of their growing up. It is generally believed that in the absence of conflict with the mother tongue, the earlier exposure to English, the more the students will grasp and understand. In the practice of English Teaching in our country, it has been a headache for teachers and parents to improve their interest in English learning.
The Advantages of the Flipped Classroom Comparing with the Traditional Classroom
As a new teaching mode, the flipped classroom has set off a new wave of educational reform. It reverses the two stages of knowledge transfer and knowledge internalization in the traditional classroom, and realizes the interactive teaching mode in the real teaching class. Flipped classroom will help to realize the new curriculum standards to promote student centered, individualized, hierarchical teaching. At the same time, it through the transfer of knowledge and knowledge expansion gives the students self-construction of knowledge platform and cultivates students' ability of self-construction, collaborative inquiry, and it is suitable for the current reform of primary school English teaching mode.
Conclusion
On the basis of the above research, this paper puts forward the following suggestions on the problems of cultivating the cultural awareness by using the flipped classroom in school English teaching system. The trend of education information is coming, and the power of the times cannot resist. Flipped classroom is a new thing, and it is a bold attempt to apply it to school English courses. Flipped classroom has brought all sorts of challenges, as an educator, we should dare to accept the challenge and calm balance. We should neither exaggerate nor denied and take full advantage of the flipped classroom.
